Game Day in San Jose

Zone 8 Sports Bar & Grill

Zone 8 Sports Bar & Grill is Casino M8trix’s sports bar, inside the venue at 1887 Matrix Blvd in North San Jose, at the corner of North 1st Street and Matrix Blvd. It’s where you go to watch the game with a full bar and a full restaurant menu, minutes from Highway 101 and San José Mineta International Airport (SJC).

Casino M8trix is open 24/7, so game day doesn’t end when the final whistle blows.

Watch the game at Zone 8

Screens, seating and a full bar

Zone 8 is a sports bar and grill, not a casino floor with a TV in the corner. You get a full bar, a full restaurant menu and room to settle in for a long game.

It’s built for groups. Bring the people you usually watch with, claim a table and order food while the game runs. The venue is 21 and over, so plan for an adult crowd.

Football season is the busiest stretch of the year here. If you’re coming for a marquee game, arrive early to get the seats you want.

Food and drink

Full restaurant menu

Zone 8 serves a full restaurant menu alongside the bar, so you can eat a real meal rather than bar snacks. Casino M8trix has five dining venues in the building, including Sushi Confidential, Lotus Café and Gaming Floor Dining.

Happy hour is a good reason to come early. Check the happy hour page for current times and offers.

Book Zone 8 for a group

Up to 200 guests

Zone 8 Sports Bar & Grill is available as a private rental for groups, holding up to 200 guests on a six-hour rental with the full restaurant available. That works for a watch party, a team outing or a milestone birthday built around a game.

For a private event, start with the event request and include your date, headcount, budget range and event type. Events are booked a minimum of two weeks in advance, and a Corporate Event Coordinator replies within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.

You can compare every space on the venues page, or read about the Event Tower.
