The value of each hand is determined by the sum of the combined cards: Ace has a value of 1, numbers 2 through 9 have face value, the number 10, Jack, Queen, and King have value of 0.
When combined cards have a total sum more than ten the last digit of the total sum is deemed the value of the hand, ie. 9+6=15=5.

To achieve a hand with a point value of 9:
Each participant in the game must place a wager on either “Player/Dealer” or the “Player position.
Two hands of two cards are dealt one “Player” hand and one “Player/Dealer” hand. A third card may be required later for either hand. The house Dealer takes a collection from each player for every bet prior to the start of each hand. Collections are posted and collected prior to the start of each hand or round of play based on the table limit of the game.

No player is allowed to place a bet on top of another player’s wager. Once the first card is dealt, no more bets will be allowed. Players must not touch their wagers once the first card to dealt.
